When Ivonne Z. relocated from New York City to California as a J.D. Law Schoolstudent in Sonoma County back in 2012,   she    was immediately captivated by the vineyards and the wine making culture.

With her new wine business set up soonafter, she was unsure where this journey would lead. 

     She first served as an exporter while following local wineries to learn about vineyards, cellar work, and later wine making. 

As the Appellations Cellar brand grew,she established relationships with  vineyard growers from different AVA and well-knownwine makers.

     The partnerships based not just on the workmanship or the quality of thewines they produced together, 

but more importantly,the family feel of people workingtogether. Appellations Cellar is a family, and we wanted every part of our brands tofeel like one too.

      Today, Appellations Cellar is a professional team, and we are proud that all elements of Appellations Cellar are still a reflection of Ivonne and the values we hold true. It is our vision to create elegant California wines for people and communities all over the world, and to inspire the reputation of California Viticulture for generations to come.

      A few years ago, we started mapping our distribution channels, and today we are proud to say that our U.S. and overseas markets have become an internationally recognized body. The further we embark on our journey, the more committed we are to serve the global wine community with perseverance and excellence.
